Anis was my housemate for a year plus when we’re bunch of geeky students back in UTP. Oh happy times! Went to her house once for Raya, oh dear! Her house is what Lovely Lace Showroom would look like.So When Anis told me that she wanted us to capture her engagement ceremony, I went flying over the rainbow! I’m going to have a session at THE Lovely Lace Showroom!! Wooott! When we reached her place in Ipoh, we went banananana for a few seconds before taking a deep breath and fire away like a couple of hormonic kids. It was beyond awesome. It was awegasmic! Being lovely as she always is, capturing her moments was way easier than me finishing the bananana split. Its all automatic baby. She looked so angelic in her white baju kurung, and she did her own make-up(way to go independent woman!). And lets not talk about her gorgeous yet simple hantarans. *inspirational* What I like about the ceremony is, it was so “meriah” and yet simple. Less is MORE. Much much MORE. -NA

Remember the soul-searching, path-finding thing that has kept us busy last couple of months? well.. we’ve been brainstorming our heads out to find a dinstict branding for nick andika’s photography(beside the oh-so-gorgeous-logo of course), and nothing explains it better than this entry. Zharif is Laila’s favourite cousin well there’s no surprise that she picked us to cover her wedding. When i first met her.. she told me to hold on really tight to Zharif because good guys dont come often these days.. auw i clicked with her right away!

the thing is.. i’m CRAZY about kampung wedding.. that is my dream wedding since I was a kid. seriously.. and getting the chance to cover one is ecstatic!.. plus Rumah Perak is the most gorgeous kampung house known to men well at least imho. it’s like a dream come true.

the bride and groom are amazing, they really are mfeo, their chemistry together gives me goosebumps. they basically they oozes out love. full throttle! which made them piece of cake to work with. -NA

we experienced a super tiring soul-searching and path-finding these past few months. it drained us out completely. Thus the empty post. My apology. deepest. really.

so a recap from nick-andika, we had a few weddings(yayy!), and we are superrrr behind on our editing, and still more weddings awaits.. its just SUPER!! oh and our first client that had made nick-andika happened, Qis and Din(from our first entry), entered the Peraduan Gerbang Cinta Mega Utusan, and what do you know? they managed to get in the top 10! and if they win it, they’ll get their dream wedding sponsored! the whole 40k! wooott! so please go and vote for the cute couple here.

now for the real news.. jeng jeng jeng.. after 2 months.. we finally made it. feast your eyes people upon nick andika’s first batch of fresh-from-the-oven-album! we are ecstaticly happy with the album and we really hope our clients are as ecstatic as we are too. (we are practically smiling ear to ear!)

Ngoh my brother and kak Azah my sis-in-law has been asking us to take their family photos ever since we took kak Ya’s wedding. But being a true procrastinator like us, we just keep on procrastinating until Qis’s ceremony. which is our turning point. After Qis’s, we decided to really do this. i mean seriously. all out! our own distinct pictures with our own distinct post processing with our own distinct custom album. yup. nick-andika’s up for the challenge. *applause*

So we agreed to shoot Ngoh’s family last Sunday. After 2 weeks of research on family photo shoot. hahaha. well Max Wanger will always be our major influence, followed by Pinkletoe. they are both jaw-drop-ju-on-style-good. seriously. Our inspiration.

the kids was upset at first. They are not used to camera being shove right in their faces. and we couldn’t bribe them with candies because they are not allowed to take candies. we were running out of ideas. they keep on giving us the “go away!” look. but their “go away” look is just too adorable!! we were laughing non-stop!

Then we did some candid shots. she’s still very shy. but hey its getting better! And their parents help a LOT.

Our last hope is to show whatever that we have captured to them using the laptop. they were laughing non-stop looking at their own picture. Viola! after that, its all smile, laugh, scream, and all the things that kids do best. yeahhhhaw!! we did it!!
